Perhaps you should make it clear that the incursion doesn't just kill people - it destroys all of that reality. All of it. Not just three dimensional space. Time, gods, mystical realms, other dimensions, Galactus, the Negative Zone, wheat cakes. Anything that is part of that reality. *Everything* dies.
